It runs for 10-20 minutes every time the truck wakes up.
Any experience with party balloons, bike tires and basketballs? Air condenses and lose pressure when cold. Pressure loss can also occur over time. Same exact phenomenon for air springs. Suspension compressor run upon wake is indeed normal. What isn’t normal is for any end or corner to sit low after being parked or the compressor to run extensively after wake.

Is this the sound? Service says it’s normal but if this is normal I call it a design flaw.

That noise is 100% the Cabin Air Temperature Sensor. Had the same noise and had it replaced last year. The funny thing was that the loaner that they gave me while they worked on mine had it even worse than mine.

I had the same noise and also replaced the Cabin Air Temperature Sensor, which resolved the noise.

Thank you all for the help. I knew it was not normal to have a high quality automobile buzzing like an old laptop. And TtedP I was going to y I hear the compressors as separate noise front and aft, outside the cabin, not I from the area of the steering column. But thank you too for trying to help.

FYI for anyone trying to find that noise. There is a little fan under the steering column. You can cover the opening with your finger and the noise should stop. You can see it with a flashlight, or poke it with a toothpick.

It's so tiny!
