I'll try this on the way home this afternoon.Known (to me at least since Feb 2023) software issue. When you are in the vehicle, make sure the rear floor heat is on …that will cause the software to use hot air all around…..
Ran out to lunch. Preheated from the office, truck was warm when I got there. Lunch spot with clients was only a few blocks away. Stayed warm that whole drive. Got inside and about half way through lunch I reheated the truck and put it on "2hr hold". Was warm when I got in and blew hot all the way back to office.
I'll leave it set to "auto" on the way home, and see what the rear vents are doing if it starts blowing cold again. If that doesn't solve it, I'll grab diagnostic data, and setup a ticket and see if the TCM is the issue as @54North mentioned.
Like @SolartoEV last winter the heat would run me out of the cab sweating. Could have worn a T-Shirt and shorts in a blizzard and been toasty. Now it's kind of the other way around. was warmer with the heat OFF this morning than with it running.
Would really prefer to avoid ANOTHER service ticket. Already been in 11 times in 14mo. I'm kind of tired of dealing with issues to be honest. Clearly if it's not a software bug, and it's a module or a sensor issue, the service center will have to address it.
