In this case I can not see any benefit to going dual assuming the same pack size. The range is no better than quad/conserve. I was only 10% shy of 350 range on 20" in the mountains.I just popped into the configurator for fun and noticed I was offered to "downgrade" to dual performance for $500 savings. I'm torn here. Obviously sticker price now I'm getting a better "deal" on the quad. But I'm not sure if that will transfer to better resale/value. 3.5 vs 3.0 seconds is trivial. Dual gets more range. Quad may end up being abandoned since its an outside purchase(Bosch)?
What are others leaning towards? Tank turn is gone. Aside from HP/TQ they're the same car correct? I can't see a big reason to go quad aside from the "deal".
The warranty is shorter, less of almost everything, resale almost for sure lower, I don't see the upside.
They have eluded to a future quad but I assume it will be in-house.
