Just picked up my R1S today. Phone would not pair at the SC. They tried resetting software, screens, my iphone, etc. No luck. Been waiting several hours for the call back on next steps. Truck is drives great so far...

Just took delivery of my Adventure Quad R1T and had all the same issues at delivery with delivery rep and even had the head of the service center try to pair two separate iPhone 12 Pro phones (iOS 16.5.1) to no avail. Pushed two updates to the car with full resets, delete key, log out, delete app, restart phone, reinstall app, log-in, add key, etc and never had a successful PAAK pairing. So far 1 hour at delivery with head service tech, 1 hour on phone with digital service team, and vehicle has been at SC for 6 hours and granted them access as a driver so they can troubleshoot with a known phone that works on other vehicles. SC says diagnostic passed so they're confused about it too.

Rivian needs to update the app so it's still usable even without the PAAK functioning (like Tesla's app can set charging, lock/unlock, vent windows, set climate control, turn on/off security features, etc even on non PAAK cars like my early MS).

Will update when I have a final resolution.

That definitely didn't work. Now I can't even sign back into the mobile app. Just takes my name and password and prompts me again for them.
I'm loving my R1T in Greenville, SC since Nov '22 except the phone-as-a-key. It's been problematic since delivery. Two phone keys using Google Pixel 7a. We blow the horn if the key works. Seldom does the horn get used. Now in month 2 awaiting a Rivian appt in Atlanta. I've performed the re key procedure multiple times: delete keys, delete app, delete bluetooth items, boot infotainment, boot the phones, and restart reload everything. Suggestions?

No idea. Mine didn’t work for the first 36ish hours after I picked up (I picked up on a Saturday around 9am), and I had the sign in problems as I described. But late that Sunday, I mysteriously was able to log in and connect. Haven’t had a problem since (well, no more than what is typically described, slowness at times). No idea what they did, if anything.

Update: I had my R1T in the service center. They replaced the bluetooth module in the vehicle. It's been working for 5 days now and then day 6 back to problematic. Wonderful when it works but still not perfect.

[SOLVED]: ANDROID
1) Android,go to Settings -> General Managemwnt -> Reset -> Reset WiFi and Bluetooth settings -> Reset Settings
2) open Rivian app and delete any unfinished setup of phone key
2) go to Settings -> Apps -> Rivian -> Storage -> at bottom click both Clear data and Clear cache
3) Reboot phone
4) go through steps for adding phone as key
