I'm actually kind of surprised by the disparity between produced and delivered based on largely anecdotal evidence. I would have expected the deliveries to be 70-80% of vehicles produced.
I take that disparity as a potential positive.

The undelivered units from Q1 of 1,326 - plus the undelivered from last quarter of ~100 (those that were produced in Q4 but delivered in Q1) means that 1,426 units are between production and delivery. What's the average length between production and delivery? Let's be generous at 2 weeks. Could they be producing ~700 units a week now? If so, they are ramping nicely and we should expect to continue seeing volume coming out.

If you read the google reviews for Rivian (the Normal location) they certainly have a lot of pissed off truckers from all the inbound supplies which supports your theory. Let's just hope they get their logistics worked out before they completely piss off the trucking industry and have companies refuse to deliver goods to them.
I read through some of those a while back, was a bit funny to think about the fact that there are so many aspects of a company they have to have growing pains through, and one of those is scheduling arrivals of trucks with people to unload them, place to put them, etc.

From their Facebook feed:

Shout out to our team in Normal working hard to ramp production of the R1T, R1S and EDV. We produced 2,553 vehicles in the first quarter, and 3,467 since the start of production late last year. We're excited about this progress, and especially to see more customer deliveries!
That is about 30% better start than Tesla had in their first 6 months, they did 2,650 in their first 6+ months for 2012.

Sit and wait for like a whole day outside in their truck before being unloaded(I haven't read them in a while though)

Probably extended wait times to load/unload. I don't think they typically get paid during those times, only when driving.

Bold guess here. I am going to say 6040 EV produced in Q2 by Rivian. This includes R1Ts, R1Ss and Vans. I believe!

I've seen other stories in the news also, not just there. Of course, I don't know any truckers to ask.

At least they are on track with their revised goals. Investors won’t hate that (which is different from liking it ?).

I’ll be excited when they hit 8975 each of the R1T and R1S. That’s how many DeLorean were produced…

I suspect there are a lot of vehicles getting diverted to the rework lot. We have seen this in previous launches (e.g. Tesla). As the speed of the line ramps up the defect rate increases dramatically, then they adjust the processes to push the defect rate back down. (Defects in this case often mean missing parts that did not make it to assembly in time etc.) Just my guess, but I expect the re-work lot is very full right now. Normal and to be expected.

Numbers look great and show the ramp up is starting. Let's see some R1S numbers in the next quarter.

Production ramp. March probably produced double Jan and I’d guess ~14-21 days from getting off the line to title

Well regardless... My order was #1551 and I still haven't gotten a ring from a guide.

I also think you have to drop the leading ones place if I remember correctly (order 551 I believe).

?... Rivian... Where's my truck?

Rivian R1T R1S Q1 2022 production & delivery numbers: 2,553 / 1,227 1649206883062

I don't know how they are going to make another 22,500 vehicles in 9 months. Some of those will probably be the vans. Some will be R1S. Most people have orders for R1T. Worried that some of the people with order #s >20,000 for the R1T will be waiting till mid to late 2023.....(hopefully I am wrong)
