UPDATE
If your R1 shop order vehicle from other SC not from IL Factory, you will have 99% chance getting the rejected vehicle by whatever reason by the initial order holder.
I took a delivery(Yes I accepted it via App) but returning it in the end.
Due to updated policy(?), $1000 deposit will not be refunded that means un-match the VIN, reject the delivery or return the vehicle within 7 days / 1k miles are in same situation.
—————-
I’ve found a 90% matched R1S from shop and confirmed it 2 days ago.
The given VIN is 15xxx.
I asked the detail on the car as it has July production VIN but the guide only answered “ I do not know the reason for the rejection and simply it is brand new car and passed the inspection”.
The car is currently in one of SC not in IL factory and will be transported.
I also asked if we can stop the delivery process (un-match) / reject at the delivery.
The answer was “Yes I can but $1000 and pre-order pricing will be gone. Will not be transferred to new / re-matched VIN”.
What should I do?
