The only thing they can really do is view any relevant public social postings about your intentions and conduct an "investigation" and try to get you to admit your true intentions. Baring either of those, there's nothing they can do.

In the years past, they probably would never flag and audit the EV credit but with the new funding for 60K additional IRS agents for audits, they probably will flag it, if it looks odd (like the new buyer claiming used EV credit in the same year as the original buyer EV credit - same VIN shows up).

The think one should think about is what else will the IRS audit will look at, once you've been flagged and chosen for the additional attention

You have to dig over a paragraph down to see they are selling the reservation and not the vehicle. Not cool. I know Ebay though, buyer will get to back out no problem. Always sellers fault on that site.

Title says 2023 R1S but it lists a 2022 VIN and then the description says it's a reservatino slot for a 2023.

It really should be deleted by ebay and the seller penalized.

Doubt it will do anything but I reported it. It is intentionally misleading and also incorrect as you stated.

This is interesting, it is the window sticker from an LE R1S that sold on Cars and Bids but at higher price. Sold on 11/28, has anyone else seen a sticker with Launch Edition selling for 90k?

Seems like a newer reservation holder with post March pricing but got an LE edition several months ago.

He has a VIN tied to the listing. eBay no doubt would let the winning bidder back out anyway, but that just seals it.
