R1S demand slowing down?

I checked the R1S shop today and noticed a few dozen configurations in the $75k-$90k range - the most I've ever seen. Seems like they are finally starting to ramp up DM/Standard production which should unlock a meaningful amount of incremental demand (albeit at the expense of ASPs).

Company gives guidance, then "analysts" pick a different number. They beat company guidance but miss analyst numbers. Stock falls.

Largest number of R1S in the shop I have ever seen at ~250 units (2x last week's figure), and over half are sub-$90k.

Great to see that more people can finally have access to the lower priced trims, although I wonder if it indicates something about demand. It could also just be a temporary spike as vehicles seem to arrive in the shop in batches.

Read somewhere on here that the shop is now showing all inventory instead of regional/local area. I would imagine demand is definitely down from the pent up demand that happens when a new product has a wait.

Seems like it will do better than the MX even after it drops, so maybe its not too slow of a slowing.

I thought with the factory retooling we’d see inventory drop but somehow the available configurations keep going up in the shop. Looking like a real possibility for a decent price drop after factory reopens

I believe they said that they had a couple thousand vehicles from Q1 that were completely built except for one remaining part that they would get in Q2. So even though the factory is technically shut down right now, they might be finishing those off.

Has Rivian started accepting new R1S/R1T orders again?

Seems to bode well for demand that there is record low R1S inventory (~20 units in the Bay Area), although part of that is likely due to a slow ramp-up post factory shutdown.

They won't be accepting custom orders for a while. What we see them producing is popular configurations to allow them to continue delivering vehicles it seems

Trying a configuration order (R1S) today I was told we can’t accept them. Leasing an existing config a few performance dual motor, lots of quad options if silver.
