Also got an invite to R1S shop last night. It’s been a very long time coming. Wife says she still wants the CY color.

I love CY, especially on the R1S. At one point I had my wife convinced to take it, but after she saw Limestone in person it was over.

No email for me, but I have to say, I am happy to read that those that did are early reservation holders (18 and 19). Maybe Rivian will do it in a honorable way this time....or maybe that was the stupidest thing ever written on the internet.

I'm expecting that it will take some time to fill the R1S Shop. There cant be that many made yet that aren't assigned an owner. It will take some excess production and/or some cancellations for that thing to fill up, then it will also depend on your location if it is like the R1T shop.
Maybe they have deemphasized R1T production after last year's sprint and it will get better.

Rivian posted an instagram story today.

But the incorporated video was only trucks. It's the first I've heard of them actually running all three shifts now, so their rate of production should be kicking up.

I tried talking her into another color other than CY, no dice. Unless a CY shows up in the shop, I’m probably going to be Apr-Jun delivery. The CY on the R1S really pops. Very nice color, but so are the other ones.

No white interiors … only black and green interiors in the shop though.

Got my invite yesterday - selected FG/FE with 20" Darks (no shield). This is close enough to my (originally) preferred RC/FE which they decided not to produce and my wife likes the green.
