Referring to the latest generation, but ok.For years, the 4Runner had a bottom mounted wiper and the window still rolled down. It was mounted just under the glass.

I would assume there is one, it just may not be immediately obvious. I'm guessing that they did this so they can share the interior door panel with the R3, which has frameless windows and thus "needs" a pushbutton release for the same reason the Model 3 does.I may be old-fashioned, but it would make me feel better if there is also a physical door release. If the power goes out, how would you open the door? I assume that's why Tesla has both.
