I totally see that supplementing our R1S better than the R2... and replacing our Hyundai Ioniq 5.

I reserved an R2 basically as soon as the reserve page went live.

Rivian has just cost themselves $100 by revealing the R3 at the same event, though. Because I *REALLY* want the R3. And I can't reserve it.

I bet you will be able to transfer the $100. I know we did with the R1S and changed it to R1T.

I just reserved a R2, but the details are going to matter a lot. Range is super important to me. And I don't want a glass roof. Everything else looks great!

BTW - I think that charge port on the side looks like it is NACS sized. As we expected.

Same. The R3 will replace my Model 3, whenever it launches!

100% you'll be able to switch between, or at the least I'm sure they'll be happy to take another $100 for an additional R3 deposit.

Completely unrelated - Rivian.com/r3 still isn't live. But while I enjoy the use of the R1 light housing as the 0 in the "404" page, I just noticed that the charge port door opens wrong.
