I had a 335i and heard some squeaking in the right rear during slow speeds and when I went to BMW so they could fix it, I took a few service people inside the car so they could hear the sound as well. One guy kept saying he couldn't hear anything and the other one finally admitted he could hear it.I have a suspension "issue" on my R1S, when going over any sort of bumps at lower speeds it sounds like a clunk/hollow sound. I have never driven a vehicle with air suspension before so I chalked it up to that until this past week when I had the car in for service and they gave me a loaner R1S and I didn't hear it at all. I had them take a look and I explained what I heard and that I didn't hear it at all in the loaner. They said they drove it with multiple tech and couldn't reproduce it. Maybe I'm just hyper sensitive to it and they aren't, i'm not sure but it's definitely different sounding. In any case, I saw your post and was curious if you had more info on what you were experiencing. It looks like they did a lot and it was still an issue for you which is definitely concerning. Thanks
I think they're trained to not hear anything that might involve them repairing under warranty.
Maybe you can take Rivian tech on back to back rides in your car and then a loaner so they can experience the issue.
