With the yellow bits all over, I had viewed Yellow as part of their corporate identity.
In that context, discontinuing yellow makes no sense even if it is not the most popular paint color.

I wonder if they will also be deleting all of the yellow accents too.

It makes sense in that it will both streamline production and save them money. I dont think corporate identity is more than a minor consideration. They’ll keep the accents and badging because its cheap and universal— and where it isnt its a product differentiator like on the Quad Adventure.

I'm disappointed to hear about the all-terrain brights being discontinued. That's the wheel option I really wanted but I sent with the 21 inch option to save money and especially to get the better range (which has saved me on a couple of long trips in between distant chargers in the Midwest). I was hoping to eventually get the 20 inch brights with a more all purpose tire option, but sounds like that won't be possible.

Compass Yellow isn’t saturated enough. Every compelling photo of it has upped the saturation to make it a sporty yellow-orange. Unfortunately it’s a dusty pale yellow.

They will hopefully introduce some new colors soon, including a few bright options that would look great at the beach with surfboards on top.

I love the yellow paint color, but I don't know if I'd say it's perfect the way it is.

Currently every yellow piece is a different shade of yellow. If they picked one shade of yellow and stuck to it that would be an improvement.

Back when I had shop access and gave up sleeping, eating and anything productive; that one lone compass yellow was my sole companion through that long hard seven days. It just stayed there like a loyal dog, refusing to go away. I almost convinced myself that I could wrap it in ECG one night. Yes, some like CY but after seeing that poor bastard car sit there for seven days I'm convinced it's not a popular colour.

I don't think there is any official confirmation. Rivian's website still shows yellow as an option and as far as I can tell the she source is just a random rivian enthousiast.

It is probably true though. And it makes me sad.

Did they ever even make any vehicles with the vegan leather dash?

Didn't some show up in the R1 Shop? And I recall someone posting about haing taken delivery of one. My guess is these are the least chosen options and they decided to streamline.
