I bought my 23 R1T used, so not sure of the delivery date. But vin is 249XX, no announcement on my adapter yet. I've emailed Rivian get the standard "they are being shipped as quickly as possible". I'm not planning on using Tesla too often, but geesh I'd like the option

FWIW- I sold the 1 week old Rivian branded NACS adapter Rivian sent me to a forum member right after I traded in my R1T a few weeks back. I never used it and only had it for a week before selling it. Unfortunately, it turns out it was defective when the new Rivian owner tried it. He even borrowed a friends Rivian branded NACS adapter to verify it wasn't a vehicle problem (which it wasn't). Rivian is replacing the NACS adapter I sold him.

TLDR: please verify your Rivian NACS adapter actually works before setting off on a trip where you plan to use it. It seems like a simple part that should just work, but apparently they have shipped some faulty ones.

10/23 delivery, got shipping address confirmation message on 10/22. Order history page updated on 10/28 with "shipment pending". And a week later - crickets. Apparently still hasn't shipped.

Most likely is. They are both made by Tesla so there must have been a bad batch that went out to Ford and Rivian.

Maybe, but I've seen only one report so far.

One report doesn't show a bad batch -- at least, not until there are multiple similar reports.
