Rivian Nav calcs glitch on anyone else Sunday night?

In the middle of a 6K mile road trip and tonight the nav keeps glitching out. We’ll have a healthy buffer to the next stop (50+ miles) and nav is happy with no stops. Then when it recalculates (every 5 minutes?) it throws an error saying we can’t make it. Every recalculation it loops through those two states.

Anyone else experience this, or know if Rivian deploys nav backend software updates on Sunday nights or something?

Rivian reportedly uses Mapbox. Their web site has a status page. No issues yesterday.

Might have lost connectivity at times. Why would that matter? I’d assume a query to update directions would simply retry later rather than tell you you’re going to run out of range?

Update: still happening this morning. Sounds like this might be specific to my Rivian if no one else is having this happen. Did restart the software and didn’t fix it.

I did notice yesterday when I was trying to click BACK to maps from Radio, it took about 4 tries. Not sure it was same glitch you saw... but yeah it wasn't super smooth for me yesterday

I agrree connectivity loss shouldn't matter. Connectivity loss on an iPhone app shouldn't matter either, but I have seen apps do strange things when they lose connectivity.

Fair point. We have good and steady connectivity now and it’s still happening though.

We have been putting this machine through its paces. My other running theory, which I’ll test when we arrive in a few hours at our location for a bit, is that since the Rivian has been driving/charging constantly for over 48 hours (we’re rotating driving shifts) we’ve overloaded some system and it needs the car to be off for longer than 10 minutes to reboot.
