I'm out too. My build went from $84k to $98k. Honestly, that pricing is still reasonable for what you get, but like some have said here already, I don't like how Rivian handled this price hike. That and few other things already had me on the fence - unproven quality, reliability and service network once production actually ramps and more of these are on the road being used and abused, and of course nitpicky stuff like insistence that Apple CarPlay would not be integrated, among other things. Their handling and manner of communication to pre-order customers with this price hike just pushed me over the edge. If I'm going to spend $98k on our family's first EV, I might as well get a proven one that I truly love the look of and don't mind spending six figures on. It's a totally different type of car, but Taycan 4S Cross Turismo here I come. Significantly more expensive than the Rivian even after the price hike, but so be it. It's become clear that Rivian doesn't deserve my money.
