There is a lot of space under my drivers seat. How do I know this? I dropped a French fry between the seat and center console, while trying to get it out it disappeared under the seat into a cavity that I couldn’t get to the bottom of!
Do all of the trucks have this space or am I low enough production (just shy of 7,000) that this hadn’t been noticed yet?

thanks

Someone dropped a quarter or something and they had to pull the entire seat to get it out from under there. I would factor in that anything you happen to place under there is gone.

... and this kids is one of the many reasons why we never eat french fries in the Rivian.
I can only assume it is now just a matter of time before this greasy french fry shorts the battery terminals and becomes the fuel that will eventually completely engulf your beloved R1T.
Of coarse I'm only kidding... mostly.

I am aware of this cavity. I lost the FOB down there, one day... Luckily I was able to bend some 12ga wire and fish it out (thank you carabiner design).

I'm sure we are all preying that none of ever need a fire extinguisher for out Rivians!
on a serious note this cavity that eats french fries and quarters must be sealed up to the outside lest we would have water intrusion way before we reach 42" wading depth.

They say a quarter doesn’t go far these days…

Please do NOT drop your credit card down there while waiting in line at the pharmacy drive up window. Ask me how I know.

Pro-tip... a painter's stir stick wrapped "backwards" with blue painters' tape can assist in the recovery of a credit card dropped between the seat and console.

Looks worse than no fire extinguisher. If an emergency tool doesn't work as expected, it definitely creates an extreme hazard to the user.
Yeah, I'd say that it's pretty much a given that you'd be better served by getting whatever is "on fire" away from whatever the fire might spread to than it would be to waste time with this gizmo

I dropped a quarter down there and my nephew dropped an AirTag… only way to get it out is to remove the seats and panels

Seriously. These things should be banned. You have to put yourself in extreme danger to use this ineffective stick. You wouldn't be able to even get close enough to a vehicle fire to attempt this worthless thing. Your skin would literally melt off. Take those things out of your trucks. False security.
