Shipping time estimates from Normal?

Mine moved really quicky - less than 3 weeks from selection in the Shop to Brooklyn arrival, less than 4 weeks from selection to a possible pickup date.

5/11/23 - Selected mine from the shop
5/12/23 - Contacted by Guide to start the 8 steps
5/15/23 - Email saying "Your R1S is ready to leave the factory and make its way to your Rivian Service Center."
5/17/23 - Brooklyn texted me that the R1S was on the way
5/18/23 - Guide confirmed my R1S was in transit to Brooklyn
5/30/23 - Brooklyn texted me that it had arrived
5/31/23 - Brooklyn texted me to ask about scheduling pickup, as soon as 6/7

Does this maybe mean it is at the SC!?!

I confirmed vin on May 9th and was told it was prepairing to ship to SLC SC.
I took deliver today the 31ST of May

my guide told me it was going to arrive to SC the week of June 5th

Hmmm thanks for all these perspectives also. I got one from shop a couple days ago and it was in Normal. Guide says could arrive at service center by early next week but I'm not that hopeful now. I'm going to take delivery in Austin TX...

Any update to your delivery in Austin? My guide told me that mine is departing Normal this week, and just stated that we'd know more next week about delivery timing.

Mine sat a few extra days but ended up shipping out this Wed 5/31 (yesterday). Just taking 2-3 days to arrive it seems. SC texted to setup deliver as early as Tue 6/6. Out of town in Vegas Tue-Fri next week so setup pickup for Fri afternoon 6/9, straight from the airport when get back ;-)

4/28 Email that it left factory going Bellevue, WA SC given 5/17-5/25 arrival dates
5/18 Guide said it was in Kent, WA
5/19 Received another email saying it left the factory
5/24 Guide said it was in Kansas!?!? Arrival in Kent, WA 6/4 and in Bellevue 6/7
5/26 Got a new guide
5/30 My status changed back to "Configuration Complete" from "Ready to Purchase," New Guide said there was a problem with the battery and it was sent back to Normal, unmatched my VIN
5/31 Received new VIN, Truck is "factory gated"
Not sure when I will get it now...

5/8 - Confirmed my Order in the Shop.

5/11- Was told by my Guide its in transit from Normal.

5/22- Was told by Guide, car still in transit

5/29- Was told by guide, car still in transit, to expect delivery in 2-3 weeks

6/1- Got text from Delivery specialist, to expect delivery the week of 6/12. I asked if it could be expedited and was then told its possible if the car arrives at the SC sooner. Fingers crossed and waiting now!!

I'm not having quite the same level of luck on the "things happening quickly" as the rest of you. Picked my R1S on 5/26 and so far it hasn't moved from Normal :-/... still sitting there "factory gated". Not sure if they simply haven't had a transport to Bellevue or if there is something else going on (didn't pass inspection and needs some work, etc). :-/

Picked my R1S on 5/26 and so far it hasn't moved from Normal :-/... still sitting there "factory gated". We picked ours off the shop back in April... still waiting for it to show up here. Be hopeful they get you on a truck.

5/16 - Supposedly left Normal
6/1 - Arrived the Chelsea, MA service center
6/1 - Passed Inspection and Local SC reached out to schedule delivery
6/8 - Earliest pickup window was a week after passing inspection. Currently scheduled to pick up this Thursday. Fingers crossed.

Somebody should give you an update on this. Doesn't seem right. Maybe they have some different shipping process for the R1S?
