Got mine this afternoon…faster than last.

First thing I tried was ‘Alexa play (x) on Spotify’…and it worked. Songs albums and playlists. Last update broke all of that that for me. Interesting that there is no reference to it in the release notes (clearly something changed) but I’m happy that it’s kindof working now. I still despise Alexa for this use-case but better is good.

Toyed with the suspension setting updates a little but not enough to comment.

All in all I like and appreciate the pace and content of these updates.
Me too - I can now use Alexa to play Spotify. For some reason, Alexa no longer makes a sound upon waking or after the command despite those options being turned on.

My AC vents are NOT staying put and continue to end up in random positions. This makes me a sad panda.

Disappointed that "high" suspension still automatically lowers 45mph. Is this really a hard requirement? Much more lifted vehicles have no trouble going at highway speeds.

I agree and prefer to lock in HIGH for visibility purposes....

I picked up my truck from ATL SC last week. Wife was going to ATL anyway and preferred driving it back, at least in this case, vs. loading on random carrier's trailer for trip back to WNC and navigation into my neighborhood.

I realized only after pulling away that pretty much everything needed to be readjusted (mirrors, steering, seat). The other thing I noticed after adjusting driver prefs was truck wasn't as "peppy" as I thought it should be. Sure enough, they'd put it in conserve mode (which as others have pointed out was still pretty quick) and on lowest ride height. I was on I75 by this time and thought "Why not keep it there for economy, etc.". Not too soon after that, I went over a bridge that crossed the Chattahoochee river. It was concrete that had been paved over leaving a seriously high edge. I hit that at the speed limit - holy impact!!!! I'm not so sure I didn't incur a slight misalignment as steering wheel isn't 100% dead on center when going straight now. Really wish I'd hit that at usual mid height.

Moral of the story is, lowering at 45 is not necessarily the best automatic decision.

I wonder if it’s an alignment issue?

I hit one very similar just a few weeks ago - may have been similar spot on 75. I was in all purpose and hadn’t been playing with drive heights. I thought the truck bottomed out. Checked for impact when I got home and didn’t see anything

They added this Auto button to All-Purpose and Conserve. It basically behaves the same as before, but now you can turn Auto back on without changing drive modes. I don't see it being useful. I do appreciate the auto leveling reduction a lot, though.

The ride is noticeably nicer in All-Purpose mode/High. Although it will lower itself to Normal if you drive over 45mph. Occasionally, I will just put it in Off-Road/High and it will stay there until I change it or it resets the next day. Riding around town in Off-Road/Rally is super plush. It drives a lot like a Ford raptor suspension wise. You can also go any speed you want up to the limiter. I can assure you the truck handles just fine in the High setting at highway speeds.

Some ideas I shared with the service team on a call yesterday were a leveling button when parked and a loading mode that would lift the front to max height and lower the rear to minimum. I think the tailgate would drop about 6" lower than "Lowest," and make it easier to load dirt bikes or anything else in the bed.

I think it is, as my steering wheel is ever so slightly turned left in the High setting. As I mentioned in the post above, try putting it in Off-Road/High/Rally or General Purpose and driving about your day. It rides really nice, better visibility, and handles just fine while staying in the High mode.

Same here. All Alexa options checked on (I usually turn off start and stop request sounds) and no sound at all.

I notice an improvement with the tonneau cover, anyone else? The cover is slower now but makes less (popping) noise.

At stoppages while driving, truck no longer does the major suspension adjustments. Usually, after stopped at a red-light for 15s the front end would raise back up, etc.

I still haven’t gotten the update yet. This is my first update, so not sure what to expect on timing. Is there anyway to speed it up or will it show up when Rivian decides it will show up?

It happens when rivian decides it’s your turn.

That’s what I figured. Our Volvos are the same way, but at least with Tesla you could sign up to try and get the updates earlier.
