Speedo screen reconfig

Do y’all remember about the mention of being able to have more control of the speedo screen? I would like to be able to move the elements on the screen around to see what I want better through the steering wheel. anyone hear this and potential eta ?

I would love to be able to choose what goes in the center section. I don't need a picture of my car when I'm not using highway assist. I would just have a map in the center, efficiency on the left and speedo on the right.

I'd like all of the important stuff to be larger - especially the battery SOC. And I'd like to have the time displayed, here, where I can read it while driving. The main benefit about displaying the truck and vehicles around it, that I have seen, is that I noticed my tailgate was down, recently. The pop up warning (about the tailgate) lasts longer that it used to, but it's not good enough - I'm not always looking at that screen when I first put it into gear.
Edit: speed display is plenty large and legible. The efficiency reading is large enough (now) - it used to be too small. I especially want the SOC display to be larger. It would be nice is the highway posted speed was larger. And a time display large enough to read.

Personally I find it quite helpful for a couple of reasons
1) it shows me what the car sees while in highway assist, so I can feel confident it knows what I know about the surroundings
2) quite often it can see things I can't, when my view is obstructed (for example seeing 2 cars ahead, but I can't see past the car directly in front)
3) another tool for a quick blind spot check

Good points - but I'd prefer to pull it up when I want, or as @SSteveEV suggested, that it comes up when highway assist is on.

It reminds me of that character on SNL who used to do that bit: "Look what I can do"

I hope that more customization options are coming soon. If this thread shows anything, it's that different drivers want different things under various conditions. One size does not fit all, and with a vehicle as smart as this, why not allow a measure of customization? If some things can't be deleted for safety, that's fine, but clearly, the animation of what the vehicle sees is of controversial utility to different drivers, and there are use cases for other information.

Since similar design language from the R2 and R3X has been making its way into the R1's of late, It's pretty safe to say this is more or less a preview of the cluster(s) will look like, with the front camera being displayed in the background in Rally mode at least.

Me too. I ask Rivian if they could add these to the drivers screen, but they never replied or did anything to add these.

You may want to try running the steering wheel calibration routine. Settings->vehicle ->service

I ran it based on a suggestion I saw here and it more than doubled the range of motion. After running the calibration I was able to position the steering wheel such that nothing is obscured.
