Standard+ in online shop

So the standard and standard+ has been showing up in the online shop. Has anyone picked one of these up? I thought these weren’t shipping until the summer. Has anyone picked one of these up?

Yep. I grabbed one from the shop the end of last month. A handful of others have as well. I think they finally started delivering them last week.

the SR pack is software locked SR+ so you can charge SR to 100% every day! This was confirmed by the delivery guide multiple times when my friend picked his up last week.

if it is software locked can you pay in the future to unlock it? Or is it even worth it since you would only charge the standard+ to 80% anyway

I haven't seen this confirmed by anyone else. I want it badly to be true but Rivian guides have been known to make incorrect statements. I asked my guide and he told me he hasn't heard anything to suggest that. It will be helpful to see a DC fast charging curve profile to know if this is in fact true. Would hate for someone to buy a standard pack under the wrong assumption.

They are still NCM batteries but Rivian has said they will switch to LFP in the future. I still wouldn't charge a standard to 100% daily.

Nobody knows for sure if the standard is a software locked SP and if it is if Rivian will allow unlocking extra capacity after delivery.

Seems pretty logical that they are just software locked.

The whole story started 2 weeks ago. I had 2 vehicle show up in my account, but not what I had asked for. Was on a call with my guide and told him I could see my vehicle in the shop, what happened if I “bought” it. He said go ahead and he would cancel the original. It worked and it was in Atlanta and I am in Middle TN (Franklin SC). We will see if it all works.
