Let me add more information to be clear.

To find Magic Dock chargers, I typically use the Tesla website: https://www.tesla.com/findus
Then select "Superchargers Open to non-Teslas" and deselect everything else. That will show you only the Magic Dock superchargers.

But if you also select "Superchargers" on this site, you will see both regular superchargers and Magic Dock superchargers. For the location in question, that looks like this:

Notice that the symbols for the two types of superchargers are different. The one in downtown George is just an ordinary supercharger and you can't charge there.

The one just a few miles east at the junction with 283 is a Magic Dock supercharger, and you CAN charge a Rivian at that one.
This technique works. Another option is to use PlugShare. In the filters clear all networks and only select "Supercharger." Under plugs, clear all options then only select "CCS".

Thanks, that helps a lot. Apparently the R1T driver who reported at the George location was actually at the Quincy one.
If you're at a hotel in George, you're at the wrong one.

If you're at a sketchy gravel lot gas station with a burnt out truck across from the charger, you're at the right one ??

Having access to the Tesla Network will be an added convenience however, for me they will be the charger of mostly-last-resort. I have 11k miles on my Rivian since June and road trip quite a bit. In fact, one of my usual trips (from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe) goes right past a CCS Enabled Supercharger in Placerville and I've yet to use it. Instead I typically use the RAN in Sac, or one of the two EA Station close to Placerville.

In all of the trips up and back (plus a trip to WA State), I've only ever had to wait for a charger once - at a RAN no less - and I've always been able to find a working charger at my first chosen charger. I've only experienced EA throttling power one time (and that's when it was 95 degrees outside).

The main reason I don't use the Supercharger is cost. First in order to get a lower charge price at Tesla, you need to become a "member" which is $12.95/month. The Placerville station lists prices as $.40 for members, and $.52 for non members - which comes out to two Tesla stops per month to break even on the membership cost.

Conversely, the RAN is $.36/kWh with no membership, and the EA I stopped at yesterday was the same $.36/kWh (I pay the $7 membership there as I charge 2-3x/month at an EA Station. Paying 1.5x/kWh of the same electricity to fatten Elon's wallet isn't for me.
