Using the right steering wheel control to open my garage. Had a Tesla before my R1S. Unsure if I could have programmed the steering wheel balls to handle this, but I like how intuitive Rivian is about this. The auto opening of the garage in my Tesla didn’t always work. And closing it wasn’t particularly good. The signal seems much stronger with Rivian.

Gear tunnel. Still get comments on it 3 years later.

For me it’s a tie between the frunk and the gear tunnel.

I love the frequent updates making the product better and better. My 2018 Chevy Bolt EV in contrast has had ZERO updates in almost 8yrs. Sad because there are a ton of little things I know they could easily do to make it so much better.

Matrix headlights - underrated addition to gen 2 that folks don't talk about enough. I love these and they just seem to always work.

And I also second having a frunk and pet mode. I know research shows people don't use the frunk, but mine is packed full. I'd pay more for one double the size, lol.

All things I appreciate
Not having to go by the gas station multiple times a week for around town driving
Acceleration
Quad motor noise
Ride height adjustments
Pet mode
Remote access and control
Gear tunnel
Frunk
Power tonneau
Updates

Pet mode and acceleration are probably the top two.
Some of us would like the power tonneau we were promised.

Hardly unique, but this is my first vehicle with ventilated seats, they're amazing. More Rivian specific, the gear tunnel, I use it even more than the frunk.

Gear tunnel and the crossbars are awesome. I have the SUPDawg carriers on my crossbars and when I don’t want them on, I store the both racks with dawgs attached in the tunnel. Then, when we go paddling it takes about a minute to reattach. It’s the quickest transformation ever. Also, the tunnel door makes a great base to stand on when attaching my SUPs or washing the car. I also use the tunnel door as a seat to change my shoes into hiking boots (and then back) at least twice a week. I love how easy the R1T transforms and how useful it is.

Power frunk and gear tunnel. I Keep groceries clean in Frunk, long term items like diaper bag and water bottles in tunnel and dirty stuff in trunk. This three tier storage is unique to R1T.

Preheating without opening garage in winter. Great for kids, though this is an EV feature rather than a Rivian feature.

Many things, but if I were to name just a few that get the most use, in no particular order, on our Gen1 T:

powered frunk, so much easier to unload groceries with the garage door closed in the winter

air compressor to reinflate tires after off-road trips

gear guard cable to lock our bikes in the bed

gear tunnel doors to sit on while putting on skis or changing shoes

gear tunnel itself for its cavernous capacity, it just seems to swallow stuff endlessly

powered tonneau cover, turns the bed into a massive trunk during road trips

smoking Corvettes

Things that did get old quickly :)
