Thank you sir. I think it is a great color. In person…it’s Tonka truck yellow with some richer gold tone to it. Not bright and in your face or anything.

I've actually been silently following your case since end of March. Now I'm kinda on the same boat and I registered the account just today to comment and get more information. My case was not silver(I dodged that at delivery and chose a different color thanks to your post. And I've seen about 8 in person, silver all have that problem even VIN 4000+). My case was service center damaged truck when they were working on it and the body shop they chose did a poor job fixing it. I've been nice and patient to service center, but that doesn't seem to get me anywhere after 1 month. Today I told my guide I'm not gonna be nice anymore. I will escalate progressively through management chain, email to RJ, even legal action as I'm really frustrated.

In terms of getting you a new car, you have to pay new registration, insurance again? Since it's a new VIN? And did you do loan originally, idk how easy it is to switch the vin on the loan. Seems like a lot of hassles even if Rivian decides to replace car

So one follow up to the Silver Saga I found out from Rivian personnel is that the first shop in Dallas painted my original truck the wrong color Silver. ?. It got to Houston and they were like wtf…

Says more about the Rivian service team than the body shop. Seriously is service just finding the closest “body shop” and not visiting them to inspect the shop, staff and examples of their work? The definition of phoning it in.

when people buy a brand new car they want a “FACTORY FINISH”! Going to the body shop on week 3 means you have a repaired vehicle.
