A few random bugs yesterday with this update:

-My Drive Cam stopped working (has worked fine on previous versions) and it asked me to re-format my USB drive. It won't actually format the drive so I can no longer use it.
-Also, during my drive yesterday my Spotify just stopped playing mid-song a few times.

Same issue exactly, just unplug and replug in. Works fine again.

Installed the update a couple days ago. For anyone keeping score, +1 for noisy compressor (although it's not as bad as I was afraid it might be).

I like the new route planning options, although Alexa is still hot garbage compared to Android Auto in my old WT. ??

HMM, mine gave same message to reformat and it wouldn't format. Once I unplugged and plugged back in it worked. I guess I got lucky

I updated mine a few days ago. My AC sounds the same.

I have gotten 4 unexplained vehicle alarm triggers. The recorded events are marked with an exclamation mark but there is nothing on the cams and no damage to the truck. You can see the hazards turned on about 4 seconds after the recording started. The update did mention they improved detection sensitivity but this isn't what I was hoping for.

Here’s my non update update: Installed on Thursday, cringed the whole time. So far it is very noticeable that the ramp up of the compressor is MUCH slower and much more linear. Right now, the weedwhacker sound is significantly improved, but it’s not really good data as it’s also been sitting in my garage while I compound/polish/ceramic coat…78 degrees in the garage.

So fingers crossed that remains the same story when it gets outside tomorrow.

Had mobile service tech out today for unrelated issue and asked him about this and he said they are very aware of an issue with this noise and working on a fix/update

Anyone else experiencing problems with the new phone app on the center display? It appears to me there's a limit to the number of contacts the Rivian system can handle. I have a LOT of contacts in my phone, partly due to some duplicates... On the display, it only shows contacts through the letter "C"

Not sure what kind of phone you have, but I recently learned that iPhone/iOS has a “remove duplicates” feature in Contacts. Maybe your OS has this too. It nuked all my duplicates with a single operation.

I've been dealing with the random alarms as well. Five the day I updated, once the day after, but none so far today. I put in a ticket with time stamps,I request you do the same so that they can see it's more than just me!

They'll absolutely fix this with a software update - they have to be working on .01 as we speak.

Possibly, but they keep telling everyone who's visited a SC for this issue "it's operating normally", so it's possible we'll have to get used to it till the groundswell of complaints forces their hand.

Did the update yesterday- I drove 95 miles today at about 80deg OAT, no noticeable difference in A/C compressor noise/vibrations.. maybe it just wasn't hot enough outside?

Yep. Thought I dodged it too until we got near 90.
