I've started experimenting with using Off-Road -> Rally mode when driving around town in my R1S. The suspension is much smoother going over bumps and potholes compared to All-Purpose mode. My usual commute is about 50% on dirt roads, which are in pretty bad shape currently from recent storms, and about 50% on paved roads, going about 55mph max. Rally mode also allows me to stay in the High ride height when going above 45mph.
I haven't tried it at highway speeds yet, due to the fact that many key features are disabled when using this drive mode (adaptive cruise control, park assist sensors, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warnings, just to name a few that I noticed are disabled).
It seems like this could be a good option for city driving on rough roads, but not having those Driver+ features is unfortunate. Hopefully Rivian will consider implementing these suspension settings as an option within "All-Purpose" mode, with the various Driver+ options enabled.
