Vandalism on Rivian - sharing for awareness

Hi Everyone,

Keep an eye out for this guy. This happened at Topanga Village before the mall opened, while I was at my appointmen. When i reciewed the other videos and my drive cam if he was following me. I found out that he's the car next to me when i parked. He got in his car and 2 minutes later, when he was leaving the lot, he stopped at my car just to put dents and scratches. ?. I filed a police report already, but I'm not so hopeful that he will get my car fix. I just hope that he won't do this to others. And sadly, my quote for the fix is over 5k. Please be careful everyone

The cops won't attempt to do anything even if you ID'd him or had his License Plate. The reason this crap continues in this state is because they know they can do it, with their face and all in plain view, and nothing will happen.

My Tesla was vandalized last week when someone purposefully pushed a shopping cart into the rear 1/4 panel. It's an aggravating and violating feeling, but in this state only the feelings of the perp matter.

I also had a vandal Key my car. Sadly, My gear guard camera did not catch Anything. (Still mad about that a bit). My car was keyed from headlights to tail lights. $5000 in damages. The State Farm rep said that, evidently, this is pretty common for Rivians. A lot of haters out there!

While there is no excuse for his actions, you gotta wonder about the motivations. Some form of mental illness, perhaps, or are you parked in a spot reserved for disabled people without an identifying license plate or placard? Unstable people can lose it over that.
