Is it just me or do other people want to leave the doors open on the truck and not have the music go quiet? Anyone know a work around other than getting weak camp speaker out? I’d say roll down the windows, but with no one in the truck, it turns off the music with doors shut.

Yeah, an option to not duck the audio when opening the doors would be nice. I don’t think there’s a way. I’ve sort of gotten used to it. But it means turning way up when doors are open.

You’re not alone Lord Leroy. I’ve encountered plenty of others on the ski slopes and golf course who are interested in annoying the general public with their specific taste in music. Rock on!

... which for me inevitably results in scaring the piss out of myself, as I am sure to have forgotten to turn it back down before closing the door again.

Also upvoting this - I like having the music going while cleaning the car or working in the garage. I'd call it a tailgate/camp/car care feature request... don't "duck" with the music.

Agreed. This is an annoying 'feature' that needs to be removed. I often exit my vehicle with the radio playing either music I want to hear or talk radio that I am listening to. It's frustrating when the volume instantly drops out. At the least, make it an optional system setting choice.

I love that the volume level drops when someone has a door open. But my tastes in music lately consist of Pokemon and Baby Shark. Maybe you guys just need to be a bit more embarrassed by your poor tastes.

I like that the music dips when you open the door. It seems like this might be the one time when you'd need to be talking to your spouse, etc. I've owned the truck for 3 years, and I've never left the doors open and the music playing. I use AirPods when I'm out and about needing music - even on the driveway washing the truck.

I wish it would simply STOP like a normal car. I'm listening to podcasts 90% of the time. I am tired of the first world problem of having to hit the stop button before getting out so I don't miss part of it.

I just want it to START when I get back in the vehicle. Every damn time I have to go back to the Spotify dashboard, hit home, and select a song before it will start playing anything. Very annoying. Why can’t it just restart from the same spot as when I got out of the truck?

Mine will randomly auto-start, or not. But I use Overcast.FM for podcasts and Apple for music. I created a shortcut to restart a podcast when it detects the car connecting, and also rewind 15 seconds for whatever I've missed. I've never had to go back to the player to manually restart it. Sounds like a phone/Spotify issue maybe?
