Why are you suppressing your stoke factor?

Attempting to govern patience?

I would have pulled the trigger on that in a heartbeat if I had access to the shop. Congratulations!

Because my original config had Max Pack, El Cap Exterior, Black Interior, 20"ATs, Full Size Spare (this is a BIG one - no spare on my R1T - as I've fully shredded a couple of tires in the backcountry on previous trucks and SUVs - a tow would have been incredibly expensive, not to mention that they all happened in areas w/o cell service - do I buy a satellite phone now? ). 1st world problems, I guess. Over the last 2 years, I did switch from El Cap to Forest Green probably a dozen times...ha ha...so not a big one there. I think I'm going to really like the Forest Green (I have a Bronco Badlands reserved for the wifey in Eruption Green, which I've seen in person, and it's amazing). I do fear buyer's remorse when peeps start getting the max pack. I hindsight, I should have reserved a 2nd vehicle with max pack prior to the March '22 price increase. A friend of mine reserved 4 (One R1T with large, one with max, and two R1S - large & max). I'm  on not doing the same on two R1Ts. I may still bite the bullet and do a new reservation.

I wouldn't really care if it were 6 - 8, 8 - 10 weeks for delivery. However, I told my guide that I'll be out of the country for 6 weeks mid Sept - end Oct and would like to get it before then. She said she's "quite optimistic" I will get it in advance of that time frame. I'm assuming the truck vs. rail transport may come into play. However, with a Riv Service Center in SLC, along with the fact that the truck is built, and the glass being half full, I believe it might be coming via the interstate.

I also have a dedicated 50AMP box from an old hot tub, so I can just re-route the wiring/conduit to the front of my house and should be able to install the charger myself. Looks pretty basic from the instruction manual and some YouTubes I've watched.

And, oh yeah, price was under $80k ($78,875 to be exact), so it looks like I'll get the $7500 tax credit as well. I'll believe it when I see it, but yesterday my accountant told me I'm all good. My original config was over $80k, so maybe that pushes my stoke factor up to a solid 9 :like:

They have shop configs with all weather floor mats when they're backordered probably through the rest of this year? I thought shop configs were supposed to be the most readily-available builds.

In my experience, your delivery will come sooner rather than later if a VIN number has been assigned.
Yes, I have a VIN. The VIN was also required for me to obtain insurance, which is one of the 8 step requirements when you finalize the purchase. I added the R1T to my Progressive Insurance bundle for about $550/6 months (edited) with payment in full, FWIW.
