Yeaaa.. so just put in a ticket as well for water under drivers mat. Had some white discoloration there as well.

Anyone else get theirs permanently fixed yet?

Earliest service date is a long ways away for water to be sitting there. Heading home to hit it with the Bissell

My HVAC(?) system was replaced Sept 2022, 4 months after my delivery. I have not had water under the mats since. The vehicle is not garaged.

Noticed same issue on driver side today. Submitted ticket,hope nothing serious. Took delivery August 23

Tell Rivian you need to bring it in right away and that there is water in the vehicle. Once mold/mildew start to grow it will be very difficult to get it out.

Earliest available is in 11 days... I'm afraid the damage is probably already done. I was able to extract approximately 75 to 100 ml of fluid

When mine was waiting to be repaired, I found a tiny fan, plugged it in and rested it on the sunglasses cubby on the driver seat and left outlets turned on so there was airflow.

I noticed this issue for the first time yesterday, after driving for 3+ hours in the 95 degree heat with my AC running. I have an appointment to bring it to the service center in two weeks. I'm the second owner but the truck was originally delivered May 2022, Vin xx4xxx.

Same timing as my truck, May 2022 delivery with a 4XXX VIN.

I have had no issue since the repair, they replaced the entire HVAC/climate control system after tearing down my dash to get to it.

Keep this thread updated with how yours ends up! Mine was only along as it was because they shipped the part incorrectly from the factory, took extra freight days.

Yes, design flaw in original units. Crack in HAVC assembly forms allowing water to drain into the floorboard instead of out the condensate drain as designed. I was told Rivian has a revised part number.

Unfortunately my wife's June 2023 build R1S had this issue. Rivian ultimately wound up replacing it to to delays in getting it repaired mold/mildew issue developed.

I made a video documenting what she went through. Ultimately Rivian made the situation right and kept my wife in an R1S the entire time (Half in a rental and half in a service center loaner). Went in February 9th and we finally resolved this on May 20th. My advice is if you discover water in the floorboard have it addressed immediately by Rivian.
