We’ve seen everything from propane stoves to induction plates to full tailgate kitchens.

What’s your favorite way to cook when you’re out with your R1?

Our go-to park allows campfires in their pits, so I do 90% of the cooking over the fire. Tastes better.

Electric kettle from Amazon, 1400W single burner induction stove from HD online, folding rubber sink from REI. Takes care of 90% of our cooking needs. Hotdogs and hamburgers are grilled over the campfire of course.

experimented with various ways to make coffee: convection compatible espresso pot, drip-coffe pot from Costco, and instant, all powered by the Rivian outlet one way or another.

Born cajun from South Louisiana, I use a Cajun Classic Cadillac Cooker for heavy duty cooking and feeding large groups. I think it's baked into my DNA, because I bring it on every camping trip and in 30 years has never failed me once. It does everything from a low simmer to 60,000 btu high heat boil. I also bring a Waring Induction cooktop for quick easy meals.

Before and after pics of Jambalaya for about 30 people.

R1S with seats all folded flat.
Dometic fridge strapped down behind driver, accessible via rear left door.
Amazon electric kettle for tea and coffee made with Aero press (heavy use)
Double-ring electric cook top from Peach Street (prob need to upgrade to induction but that means replacing my aluminum pots too…)
Panini press (this has been great!)

Thanks for this thread. Other posters have given me good ideas!
