I agree! I had 2019 TRDpro.2017 Tacoma TRD Pro for me. I bought it because of the reputation for reliability and the resale value. Both of those turned out to be true and after driving it for 4 years, Rivian offered me $2k less than I paid for it originally.
I loved that truck, but when I compare the interior and creature comforts to my R1T, it seems like I was driving the Flintstones car for 4 years. The Tacoma is also slow as dog$hit so having something this quick is just surreal.

My son daily drove one of those but when he came back from Houston we noticed that the "surface" rust on the frame was actually a complete rotting from the inside out. It's a common enough problem that we still got decent money for it from a specialist that did nothing but frame restorations on that generation of Tacoma.2003 Tacoma and I don’t miss it one bit.
