If you watch the videos of the electric g-wagons doing the tank turns, you will see a recurring theme. Loose dirt or wet pavement. Outside of that, you either destroy the tires or the earth beneath. Rivian as adventure company that advocates for protecting nature will probably never make it functional for public consumption.

Imagine if the OP of this thread took even a few minutes to research tank turns on a Rivian and they discovered the article about 1-2 years ago where RJ was asked about this feature and he specifically said: Although we have the ability to integrate tank turns however, we've decided not to because of the damage they cause to the environment -- and that runs against our corporate ethic.
