"competitive reasons???" more like "our engineers have no clue how to build a truck that people who use trucks will want"Official exterior dimensions and revised MSRP pricing for the production Cybertruck has not been released for competitive reasons. All comments regarding both is pure speculation.
Like the Max Pack and Camp Kitchen? Just kidding. Kind of.I still believe its vaporware and always will be.
I do a lot of work with press brakes and make brackets for farm machinery that are more elegant than this doorstop of a vehicle. The manufacturing processes Tesla is employing to create the CT and the non rounded edges look are one and the same reason how they're reducing build costs. If anyone has doubt on Tesla's manufacturing efficiencies and scaling capabilities you guys really need to take a step back form the Elon hate. (And no I'm not a fan boy and thinks he needs to get off drugs and twitter)
Citation needed that it's the least profitable vehicle they could make. The sky high price has a huge margin built in. The tech was promised already by Elon, so basically is that Elon is full of shit and promised a product that doesn't exist. Just like with the cyber truck. The roadster is the least profitable vehicle they could make. But it is like not finished becuase the tech isn't ready. The CT, like the Austin Model Y, may be released without the battery pack in the form that was Tesla's original target.
Like the Max Pack Rivians now?I can't be excited when it's still vaporware. Until we get real specs and price, it's just a way to hold people's $100.

Like the Max Pack Rivians now?![]()
I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better my vehicle delivery estimate for a Large Pack R1S (since max pack is not even possible) is the whole year of 2024
How well has that worked out?Rivian has 13000 employees and has used the expertise of thousands of vendor and consultant employees.
It doesn't. My R1T Max Pack estimate is also the whole year of 2024. But it's a BS estimate just like all the ones that came before. Unlike the R1S, the Max Pack is vaporware. They have no idea when it will be ready and are just kicking the can down the road until the day they replace it with something "new" and tell me I no longer qualify for pre-March pricing.I'm sorry. If it makes you feel better my vehicle delivery estimate for a no-longer-possible Max Pack R1S is the whole year of 2024![]()
In the interest of fairness are you going to list the, literally, tens of thousands of things they did right? How well has that worked out?
Powered Tonneau
Ball Joints squeaks
CV Axle issues
Upper Control Arms issue
Changing the OC wood trim
A quick search of the forums will have the list growing exponentially.
No because I’m not boasting about number of employees and all of the “expertise of vendors.”In the interest of fairness are you going to list the, literally, tens of thousands of things they did right?
