Hello all:

I thought this might be helpful. I recently had one of my windows that would not go all the way up. It happened to a second window. I went through a few calls with tech support.

The first few answers didn’t work. The truck was to get on the side where the window does not roll all the way up. Push only the first click and hold until it goes all the way down for 5 seconds. DO NOT push to the second click (auto-down). Next, pull up to the first click only and when it rises all the way hold it in and in about 5 seconds window will go all the way up. The original advisor said 2 clicks but that didn’t work Hope this helps anybody that might have this problem.

I believe that this helped me, so thank you! We need a manual for all these unpublished tricks.

It would auto go up and auto go down but something happened and it would fall like 1/4 in short of going all the way up. It happened to a second window as well. Exact same space. I tried the 2 clicks down and up and holding a few times and didn’t work the fist point where the window just rolls up and down is what actually triggered the calibration thing for me.

Glad it worked. Note they have also enabled a software option to recalibrate with a recent update. I fortunately haven’t had another trouble since

This is incredible! Solved my problem immediately with the rear passenger window not rolling up. Had to drive this way all day yesterday and made a service ticket. Canceling that now.

Thanks!!!

They took apart my damn door to fix this one and I could have just done this? Silly, feels like it creaks more now too.

For anyone where this calibration doesn’t work I had an issue where these steps wouldn’t fix my window not rolling all the way up. What finally worked for me was closing it as far as it would go then letting go. Wait a few minutes then hold the up button with 1 click for an additional 15 seconds. This finally closed my window the whole way. Did a recalibration right after and have not had any issues since.

I have an issue with the windows not goin up which could not be fixed with updates, or full or half button window resets. A mobile tech showed up and started to try to bend the window frame. That was a little scary.

He said the vehicle windows need to be SHIMMED. I go in next week, we shall see.

I will have to give this a try. Mine seem to drop a little bit. When I get back in the truck and start driving again you hear a very little bit of wind noise. Put the windows down an inch and back up and it is completely silent. I was wondering if the new update would help with this, was going to wait for that, but it seems to be taking unusually long between the leak and release this time.

Where is this software option? I can't find it in Settings.

Hey sorry I am not sure as I am not driving my rivian currently. I just heard there was a recalibration setting in the software somewhere. Glad the post is still helping people though!
