I have had my R1S for a week now, and I love it more each day. On Friday, I updated to 2023.34.00.

Since the update, I have experienced these -

1. Upon getting into the R1S, the wipers cycle once and stop - everything else seems normal on startup.

2. I have kneeling enabled - since the update, the R1S kneels when put in park, then immediately climbs
back up to the previous setting. So it kneels/stands every time when in park.

3. My IPhone will not connect to the R1S hotspot. The phone does not even "see" it as available. I have
tried manually entering the hotspot designation and password, but the phone can't find it.

My question, would a soft/hard restart solve these issues? I have been leery of just doing restarts willy-nilly,
but I would like to get these issues fixed. Have asked my Guide and Customer Service, still waiting for a
reply.

Maybe. Stay with the 'soft' first.

And #1 is normal if you have auto wipers turned on.

1. It does this sometimes when the windshield is not perfectly clean. Annoying because it just makes it even worse by smudging. If my windshield is perfectly clean, it doesn't do this.
2. Front drops then the back, then the front some more, so maybe when the back is dropping it give the appearance from looking out the front that it is raising?
3. Toggle hotspot off and back on. If that doesn't work then do the infotainment reset. I used to have to do this reset a lot over a year ago but with recent updates it's been fine, except sometimes the hotspot is off and I have to toggle it on.

Thanks for the tip - I did the infotainment reboot and also had to toggle the Hotspot button, but I have it working now.

Still searching for an answer on the kneeling/standing issue.

Glad you got the other issues sorted.

On the kneel/raise, the raising requires air pressure and would kick on the compressor. It would also not be instant. Are you opening a door before kneeling completes?

What ride height are you set at? You could also try starting from a higher ride height to see if it raises after kneeling.

nothing wrong with a hard reset. I feel like I'm doing one on my truck every 2-3 weeks, still.

Thanks for responding.

I am in all-purpose, soft setting. I see the front end drop around 2-3 inches when I put the R1S in park. Then immediately, the front end creeps back up, maybe 2 inches, so the overall kneeling is about 1 inch, which isn't much help to me. Someone suggested that the "rise" may be to the rear
suspension lowering, but I don't think that is the case. If the compressor is coming on to "rise" the R1S, I can't hear it or feel it.
