I went with the 16” height and I’m simply amazed on the craftsmanship plus it was pretty simple to put together with a bit of help from my 14yr old son to place top part on. Really can’t wait to throw my gear on and take it on my next adventure.

I couldn't agree more... I want also with the 16" which I think is the perfect height. I set mine up so I can take it on and off the truck with a hoist in the garage, so right now its not on the truck .. but I did test-fit it on a Rivian loaner vehicle for a camping trip while mine was in the shop:

dumb question, but does 16" refer to the height from the plastic panels around the bed to the top of the frame? I'm trying to figure out the highest I can go while still avoiding my RTT peeking above the roof too much. Thinking about settling for 14"

Yes they do- 23, I believe. I ordered it on July 12th. They will tell you 5-8 weeks from order date. I live in Kauai. $350 UPS delivery. I wanted my bed rack height to match height of cab crossbars as I have 11 ft paddle boards. Only optionThule & Yakima don’t offer any bed racks as of now. I talked to John at OE and they are first class. Can’t wait to get it.

Definitely looks awesome on that loaner. I love that I’m able to have full view on my rear view mirror. Ordering a slide out kit and awning mount for my kammok.

Yes, 16” from plastic on bed to top of bed rack.

@limestoneR1T How does the 16" line up against the spoiler? Does the airflow go over top side of bracket? Been curious how the rack sitting directly in front of the spoiler airflow would affect it. Any pictures would be great!

I helped someone install a rack yesterday, and was not impressed by their lack of tolerance for the fasteners. At least with the kit we had, the tolerances were small enough that it would be very easy to cross thread the bolts or be unable to connect the pieces at all without modification.

Once installed it seems rock solid.

I won't lie, I clicked here with the 10% expectation to see a rolled over R1T with an intact bed rack. Glad it wasn't that. This looks great, hopefully they can come up with some blocking that lets it span from 14-16" up to the height of the over cab bars for some flexibility with loading/aero.
