wonder if the pricing is being "rolled out" because my R1T LE and R1S preorder remain unchanged. I logged off and back in and hit the refresh a few times but no pricing difference shown. I know that I'm not that lucky but wondering what gives ....

This is a really good question - I'm seeing the same thing
Bad news for you - from the email...

We’re in the process of updating your Rivian Account page to reflect these adjustments and we will send you an email notification when the update is complete. Until then, all product and pricing updates can be viewed in our configurator.

This wasn't the type of communication I wanted. Another fail.

Pretty much knew it was coming but it still stings. My max pack config is over $100k now.
Not sure I'm willing to pay over $100k (and that's if they don't raise prices again) for a 2024 R1T Max pack. By the time the Max Pack ships, the Silverado EV and Cybertruck should be on the market at similar or lower prices. It certainly makes my choice more difficult.

With a company with as much cash on hand as Rivian, I'm not sure it's wise to jack up your prices on the people who put deposits down years ago. Sure, raise prices on new preorders but this seems short sighted and will upset a lot of their most enthusiastic supporters.

My question is - will they honor current pricing and this is just for changes? Or is this a straight up price increase. Because my current config still shows $75K. But if I go to change it, that's where I see $90K now. Can I leave it alone and still get the current price?
The email says:
"We’re in the process of updating your Rivian Account page to reflect these adjustments and we will send you an email notification when the update is complete. Until then, all product and pricing updates can be viewed in our configurator."

So it's going to change... :(

This is really odd...I don't see exactly that view, but looking on the portal right now I see below. Looks like your R1S LE is priced different than mine? I ordered Feb 2019...did they change the price based on when you ordered?

[Edit - you have you be talking R1T with the kitchen - and must be the Max pack]

Per their email:
" We’re in the process of updating your Rivian Account page to reflect these adjustments and we will send you an email notification when the update is complete. "

This is a bunch of serious BS. I think I'm out too.

Is Rivian actually hoping to push for a merger/go to purely commercial?

There just aren't that many customers that will eat a $15k markup after years of delays and no communication. Sure, the diehards will but this feels like an intentional push away from customer vehicles.

No communication, massive delays, $15k price hike? That doesn't add up to wanting to get cars to customers.

I got the first call from my Guide today. This email came in from rivian a few minutes ago...

You may have heard that Rivian‘s vehicle and option pricing have increased as a result of price inflation of supplier components and raw materials across the world. Since you are in the final steps of completing your transaction, your Rivian preorder will not be affected by these adjustments.

We’re grateful to you for being an early supporter of Rivian and look forward to getting your new R1T to you soon. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to your Guide at any time.
