He's pumping Rivian because they compete with Tesla who is in a robotaxi competition with Uber. Uber knows their business model is short lived without a chunk of robotaxi business.

It has been well established that R2 (and Gen2 R1) will be getting supervised P2P. Rivian confirmed its launching later this year to a limited subset and to everyone in 2027.

No implications needed. Rivian has flat out said all Gen 2 R1 and all R2 will be point-to-point capable with the rollout starting this year.

lol, I think the point is just that the post was a bit vague. Sunnyvale to Cupertino and back could technically be a VERY simply drive. Would have been nice if they posted what the actual route was.

I literally just put the town names as you can see in the screenshot. I had no clue how close they were together.
