This. I’m a July-Sept window, but spoke to my guide yesterday and I may have my truck next week. One huge caveat is that my original window was based on an El Cap/OC config. I subsequently switched to LG/BM after seeing them in person and that clearly impacted the timeline.
Their assignment almost seems random based on whatever they have sent to your service center and who is next up in the area with that configuration..

The randomness lies in which configs they decided to send to which SCs. And the # of vehicles to each sc.

I guess they could have run the numbers for the most common colors and wheels for each SC area. We don't have that exact data to be sure.

Also SC size/staffing would affect how many were shipped to each active SC.

Yeah, I am starting to guess it's being driven by truck routes more than anything. People with late delivery windows in say... Atlanta seem more likely to move up than folks in SF or Seattle.

Before the price hike I thought the R1T price was high for my budget but after the roll back I keep thinking I am getting a bargain. Phycology is weird.

I am trying to be optimistic regarding my build date but no matter how I guesstimate it, it seems like 1H2023 is more realistic than Jul-Sep 2022.

I did not pre order until 3/23/21! R1T/Adventure/ForestGreen/Large Pack. I live in ID which as far as I can tell Rivian does not know exists. Closest SC is 346mi away. I am floored(baffled)that I am in the Jul-Sep 2022 delivery window. I am thinking that when my config is rolled back next week that Rivian will correct delivery window.

We’re also in this group.

Deposit 4/6/19
R1T Adventure - RB/OC - 20AT - LP.

Going to switch to Limestone (which might affect delivery date) and potentially to Max Pack (which will affect delivery date). Let’s see by how much for each…

Well I now have a guide showing online. What’s normal next steps? They reach out? I reach out? Also, I see people talk about PBA and I assume it’s the paperwork but what does it stand for?

When this happened to me, I sent my guide an email, and instead of replying, she called me the very next day from an "888" number. I answered it, not sure why, but now we were in contact. When I wasn't interested in switching to Black Mountain, most of the communication stopped. Hard to get her to respond to emails or texts.

PBA stands for "preliminary buyers agreement", I think. Haven't seen one of those yet, but my window is May/June, assuming no delay from OC interior. I have been unable to get CS or my Guide to speculate on when/if OC interiors are going to start coming off the line. Hoping a batch with OC, and then FE, will start s00n. Just too bad there is still so much secrecy about their production plans, and there is so much SWAG'ing (scientific wild ass guess) on our part. Maybe that Friday update email (that I didn't get) will give us all some assurance that they will REALLY try to communicate better.

I started wanting Limestone/FE, but the secrecy of Limestone and the reviews on El Cap changed my mind. I also changed from Forrest Edge to Black Mountain. Guess my changes a few months ago were to my unknowing benefit?

Did your order flip to locked? Have you had a guide assigned?

I am in this delivery window too and my configuration has not locked nor have I been assigned a guide. However, I have red canyon configured. My trip this weekend to the San Diego SC showed me there are no RCs here yet. So, I am not surprised.
