Any way to clear water that made its way into a camera fixture?

Somehow, a drop of water got into the housing for the front camera, which messes up the birds eye view. I had hoped that it would just evaporate out whatever way it came in, but it's been about a week and it's still there. Is there anyway to either remove the protective glass/plastic piece to clean or otherwise clear the droplet (e.g. heat gun?)?

Yeah, that's probably what will end up having if there isn't a simple fix. I just know that the service centers are stretched pretty thin at the moment so it could be a while before I can get in for a fix.

I would get a plastic bag, like a Ziploc, put some silica gel (those packets of clear balls you find in the boxes when buying shoes), and tape the bag all around the body of the camera. Make sure to get a good seal around it so that outside moisture doesn't get in.

I've done this on a pair of binoculars and a range finder that fogged up due to getting wet and it cleared up in a few days.

I have the same problem, and would have Rivian take care of it, but we live 3.5 hours from nearest service center. Will probably live with it until the Cincinnati service center opens.

I ended up having Rivian fix it, so no updates on any at-home remedies that might work.

Fortunately it hasn't happened again in the last 6mo so hopefully the issue was fully resolved when Rivian took care of it.

I’m having the same issue with the back up camera. Was it a mobile service or did you have to go to a service center? How long did the repair take?

I took it to a SC for that fix. I picked it up again the same day.

Still hasn't happened again so I think the issue was permanently resolved.
