Yes. Mine was the absolute base price $75.5k w/no paid options (LE, GW, OC, 20" A/T) which also happened to be my exact configuration (I did have "brights" configured instead of the low gloss wheels, but honestly decided I like the low gloss as well or better). Moving from ADV to LE saved me the extra $1,800 on the A/Ts which was a solid bonus.

You can see my post here showing everything that was in the shop when I got access Wednesday morning (ATL service center for reference). There were 14 under $80k then (only 1 was at the base $75.5k). The one I snagged wasn't in there until Wednesday afternoon and I grabbed it immediately which ended my shop access, but all the recent posts on here and Reddit sound like the vast majority of builds under $80k has dried up for the time being.

I just got shop access yesterday and want to keep my price right at $80,00 or below for potential tax benefit (signed PBA and meet all other qualifications) either for 2022 or possibly 2023 depending on the battery component piece once we find out from Rivian. For those who purchased from the R1 Shop, is it possible to drop the Rivian charger once you have confirmed your vehicle? I see the price includes my Rivian Charger ($500) and want to know ahead of time if i can drop it from my purchase before delivery if i need that extra amount deducted to be at $80,000 or below? Or if I just need to wait for a configuration that is not above $80,000?

The charger isn't included in MSRP.. nor is the destination charge

As posted above, there is no way to know in advance. To take that a step further, I inspected the page source when I had access (Rivian is notorious for coding things in before they are visible, like the updated delivery estimate windows) and even digging through all the code I couldn't find anything that indicated model year or VIN so I don't think it's even coded into Rivian's page.

The only other thing I could think of is if you have a guide you could reach out and ask them to check for you if you can direct them to the exact shop vehicle you are looking at, but even that would probably be more hassle than it's worth and may not be worthwhile because there's a decent chance any given truck would be claimed by the time you sent that over, had them look it up, and got the response.

I did the exact same thing with the page source and applied the same logic in terms of reaching out to my guide. When I had shop access the configs I wanted were disappearing within minutes - no way I could've gotten my guide to give me any info in such little time.

Interestingly, quite a few of them sold so far today. I'd say the shop is about half as full as it was when I posted this morning. I think this white one is the only one that's been added

They can change at anytime. Even the weekend gets new vehicles. It is totally roulette.

Do we think they’re done building Launch Editions? I think someone earlier in the thread said they picked up a LE in the 7XXX VIN range last week but that’s probably the end of the builds given recent inventory, no?

I'm thinking we're seeing the last of the LEs here now... from here on out, guessing these will all be Adventure Editions without the free wheel and paint upgrade and no wrist band.

That better not be the case since I am still waiting on my LE R1S.

We just went today to pick up a Tesla Model Y performance. She got tired of waiting for the R1S. There was serious blotch in the paint, a nick on the door edge and scratches on the bumper. The panel gaps were also horrible. This would have required repainting half of the car. If you repaint part of a car at a local shop the paint thickness would not be the same. They were not embarrassed about presenting me with a POS and expected me (my wife) to buy it. They have ordered a new one for us. Maybe if I get shop access I can talk her out of waiting on a new myp.

They just added two Launch green Launch Edition this morning.

Scheduled another First Drive for May 6 at the Atlanta Service Center. My wife still hasn't sat in a Rivian of any type and that was the first weekend slot we could both do. I will definitely be asking for R1S Shop access.

Major shame about the bundling they're now doing with 20" AT, RUS, and spare. I want 2 out of the 3 (AT + spare), but want to keep under $80k just to be safe on the tax credit, even though I have a pre-August 15 2022 BPA. I would really like my worst case tax-wise to be a $3750 credit. (Spare should just be offered as an extra through the gear shop and picked up separately.)
