This is how diesel locomotives brake, they don’t have any batteries, they just shunt the current from braking with the traction motors into a giant heat sink.There is the option to put that regenerative charge into a resistor bank instead of the battery. It isn't all or nothing. I----resistor bank? Point me to this item?
