Hello all. Just reporting in. I used to notice some phantom drain. I have been out of town for 5 days and left R1T unplugged because I forgot to plug it in. I left at 52% and still at 52% today. Zero drain. Good news. Maybe I am lucky or maybe Rivian fixed.

this is great news, how did you leave it - locked, unlocked, any security enabled?

I left unlocked in garage. I also have the sentry mode de-activated when at home. That being said, I still noticed draw in the past, though I haven’t done this in a while, as I usually have it plugged in.

What VIN# do you guys have? Is it a 2022 or 2023? This is definitely suspect... but sounds like it could be exciting!

I have 8912. 2022 august picked up. 10K miles into the journey. Great so far. Was a little upset with phantom drain at beginning as was noticeable and seemingly large. I drive it almost every day so charge every night nowadays though, and I have scheduled charging set up so usually plug it in on habit when I get home.

I live in Florida and also keep my truck in a conditioned garage. I had remarkable drain in the past where no difference in temperature noted. That could still be a source of drain though.

Update - after 2 days I’m still at 1% drain per day. My garage in Florida, no gear guard or proximity detection on … and still 1% per day.

Wow. Interesting. Maybe I just hit a lucky streak. Will have to test again if I go without driving for a few days… but that is very rare.

Best way to check is to zero out one of the trip odometers then exit the vehicle- this way you get the exact loss figures in kWh when you end the observation period.

I’ve been away for 60 hours and am down only 7 miles of rated range from 207 miles at 70% to 200 miles at 67%. Will follow up with the 8 day total next weekend. Car is in my garage but not plugged in, and no gear guard.
