Looks like they are coming out with a 275/65/r20 in the next generation:I’m not sure which sizes this will come out in…supposed to be out this fall. Michelin currently has a 20” Defender that comes in a 60 series, but not a 65.

Someone hurry up and try these! I may hold onto the AS3+ I just bought for the wife's R1S coming in spring.Looks like they are coming out with a 275/65/r20 in the next generation:

I would LOVE to have a straight answer to this. Rivian used to ship R1S with 115 tires but now everything ships with 116.Is the 115 load rating OK for the R1T/R1S?
Yes.Is the 115 load rating OK for the R1T/R1S?
Yes..115 is XL and I think 116 is HL. Either is goodIs the 115 load rating OK for the R1T/R1S?
I think these will be lighter rather than heavier, for example specs say that 275/65/R20 is 42 pounds versus the 48 for stock all terrain Pirelli's. Not sure about the 22s.Curious how the weight difference of 53 lbs vs Pirelli 37 lbs affects efficiency. Guess time will tell when we see first ones get mounted and tested
In theory you could go as low as 113 for a rating. Looking at the door sticker the rear axle carries the most weight of the GVWR at 4960 for the R1S and 113 is 2535 which covers the rear axle and still is over 10k for the vehicle with a GVWR of 8532I would LOVE to have a straight answer to this. Not marked on the door sticker like it should be.
So are some R1S vehicles ok with 115 but new vehicles no longer are?
