Where'd you get the bag? I still use the velcro wrap arounds, but boy, a bag looks much handier!
Super happy with mine. The @Bf3 design and functionality is perfect, only slight hesitation has been early comments around fit and finish due to the handmade nature (which is totally understandable) but was curious what others think with their recent builds?
I can’t claim I don’t have the occasional mistake. I reeeeeeeeally wish I had an army of robots to do all this for me, but I’m still human. I really want everyone to love their adventures and their trucks. I’d hate to be responsible for something that isn’t improving the experience. If there’s an issue I can fix, I will do my best to do so.the Colorado sun and snow has basically destroyed my DIY plywood cover and can’t keep waiting on the Rivian cover to go live in the gear shop.

that certainly wasn't a shot at you (sorry if it came off that way), you've done what I'm still waiting for a billion dollar+ car company to sell me. It actually relates to your robot vs. human comment. Either way, the above responses and you standing behind your product have convinced me, order placed ?I can’t claim I don’t have the occasional mistake. can corroborate this…Bill is very responsive and solved my issue quickly.I can’t claim I don’t have the occasional mistake. First thing I thought of was would the cooler height itself be the contact point to stop a panel from sliding. Is there a way to keep part of the cover on? My cooler sits just a little tall but don’t want to remove the entire thing to accommodate. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to keep all but one panel on.
Working on it.Is there a way to keep part of the cover on? My cooler sits just a little tall but don’t want to remove the entire thing to accommodate. The Rivian official one say they have a way to do this but don’t want to buy another cover just for that feature when this one is great 99% of the time.
As a temporary solution I think it’ll work. Long term I could see the vinyl fading or delaminating. Are they waterproof planks?Has anyone tried vinyl plank flooring? I’ve just ordered a carton of six 9” x 60” planks so I’m thinking that’s exactly 54” length and I just need to miter saw my ends to 55.5” or whatever it is.
The planks are 8mm (0.3”) thick and I’m thinking about gluing them in sets of 3 (27” x 55.5”) on top of some 0.2” board for added thinkness and rigidity and so that I have two solid pieces that are still about 0.5” thick.
Thoughts or concerns?
