My 2023 R1T stops charging when plugged in at home before it reaches it set limit mileage. I have it set to charge to 285 and it stops at around 250. Anyone know why that might be happening.

Just started last week for me. Except worse. Mine is set to 70% or 85% and stops charging at 50% or less. Seems random. I don’t have a charging schedule setup.

Is your charger borked? My Juicebox is temperamental. It will occasionally think it loses ground, which results in not being able to deliver Juice, per its name. Little bastard.

We’ve relegated it to secondary duty on the other cars (which charge a heck of a lot faster), and I have the Rivian charger installed now which has been flawless if not SUPER BRIGHT.

I have a Rivian charger. Never charged with any other home charger. Had been flawless until last week. Update. For some reason I got a full charge today for the first time in a week.

When it stops does it say vehicle error and the charging LED around the plug turned red, if so, charger malfunction, Rivian replaced mine.

Side note but do you know if the Rivian wall charger light is blue when you are scheduled to charge?
I’m having issues and my R1S port is blue but the wall charger continues to blink white (ready state)

I encountered this issue and it definitely isn’t my EVSE or charging schedule. I was set to charge to 85% and it stopped at 80%. I figured maybe it was my charging schedule so I turned it off. I disconnected and reconnected the charger and the vehicle showed green as if it had reached the target charge even though it didn’t. I went into the app and it showed as charging with disabled “Stop charging” control at the bottom. I did a soft reset and saw the same behavior.

Just for the heck of it, I decided to set the limit to 100% and it started charging showing a realistic time remaining. When I dropped it back to 85% the time remaining dropped to 1 minute and then the charging stopped even though it was only at 80%. Changed back to 100% and all is well. Should I perform a hard reset? I haven’t had to do one yet.

Here’s a video showing what the app does when changing from 100% (2h 57m remaining) to 85% (2m remaining) even though the SOC shows 81%.
