My Guide said they are all "new builds" but said he is unable to provide a VIN.

One thing regarding the max pack is it's just a chemistry change as far as anyone can tell so far. So same approximate weight, new cells, same thermals and charging it seems. So you'd get about 50 or 60 miles of EPA range from full for $10k. On a road trip if you stay between roughly 10% and 80% that's only a 35 mile difference roughly.

Point being, it's not as enticing of an option as it used to be unless they have managed to hide something from people.
I was thinking more on the dual motor vs. the max pack. We also don't quite need the functionality of the quad motor. Driving our kids around town doesn't require much "off roading" :)

My thoughts exactly. A late build LE with the exclusive color (now only available in the shop) is a bit more unique. Plus, with the pre-March '22 pricing the LE's are too good of a deal to pass up. I picked one up from the shop a few weeks ago.
A warning though - check your VIN to make sure you don't end up with a 2022 model year LE truck.
It's not pre '22 pricing. We "unfortunately" reserved in April '22, so ours are all post pricing.

If you want best range possible and can't find the 21" . Get the 20" and switch to 275/60 all season tires., it will be the same as the 21".
Is this something you can do within Rivian or are you suggesting getting the 20" just to have the vehicle and then getting 4 new 275/60 tires somewhere else?

I totally replied to the wrong thread on accident... Apparently I'm still not fully functional today.

run with the ATs until you wear the tires down and then switch to a 275/60 r20. The "trick" may be getting them to switch your vehicle configuration over to a 21" tire in that case, which is the most appropriate since a 275/60r20 is the same diameter as the 21" and 22" tires.

If you want range immediately. Take the stock At off and sell it. Put on what Mr. Seageo said. Call rivian to recalibrate to 21"

LEs are still in production as there are still unbuilt LE pre-orders and I bet there are part minimums for badging, etc. Since that's the major difference (in addition to ability to get Launch Green colorway) they'll keep trickling in to the shop.

Why do they still make Launch Green? Same reason. The paint robots work off of color canisters so there's a minimum number to make per batch.

I just picked a Launch Forest Green with 20" ATs out of the shop (though there were one or two with 21"). My VIN is 24nnn, so a pretty recent build as far as I can tell (though I will miss having the 12v outlet inside for my towing rear-view camera :()

The Launch editions are no longer in my shop, but now it also switched from "1-6 weeks" to "3-6 weeks" for whatever I might pick. I'm admittedly still holding tight for an update on my current configuration, which still says "processing estimate."

My guide told me mine moved to "processing" after getting my invite to the R1 shop. I also see 3-6 weeks now.

Wow, the bracelet, nice. What is this "special badging"? I was able to snag a FG/OC/22 LE R1S this afternoon which was totally unexpected (and exciting) and I'm trying to find the exact differences but I couldn't find any.
