This looks to be a repurposing of a white label AA/Carplay screen that can be found on Amazon for less than $80. You would have to DIY the mount and wiring solution though.

EDIT: If you go DIY make sure you get a unit with 'dual bluetooth' that can both receive and transmit bluetooth. Some of the older versions look similar but only have an FM transmitter. I removed the linked product above because it only had an FM transmitter.

Rivian Nation, we've been working on this one for a while! Finally launched today just in time for Black Friday!

1 - plug and play (DIY install), no cutting or splicing or permanent mods!
2 - no tape or scewing mount to dash; patent pending design locks into factory dash!
3 - does not use any USB-C or cig lighter ports! plugs directly into fuse panel above driver feet / under dash
4 - full CarPlay (wireless) connection, run Waze, Google Maps, etc - and play music through Rivian audio

Ordered! Is there a you tube video for installation? How long does it take to install? The other one i I tried the bluetooth for music through the Rivian wos HORRIBLE. I'm going to presume knowing you guys that you have vetted all of this.

Nice! I love CarPlay! I couldn’t find any instructions. How is the iPhone connected to this screen (Bluetooth, WiFi, usb, etc) and how is this screen passing the audio and Siri to the rivian?

It’s fairly easy to do as you say. Sounds like you’d want to just plug in via the usb-c in the center console and skip routing the included power wire to the fuse panel. I’d only do that if you left it installed. Pm me if you need any help to details, happy to help!

We will post a video next week setup and usage is easy. We make the user interface super easy. I hate unnecessarily complicated screen settings / setups. We kept this simple.

no, not really. $80 will get the cheapest of generic screens, expect low res, fm transmitter audio, and Chinese ux. And no Rivian mount or harness. But for those that want this route and want to diy, that’s okay too!

for those that want a Rivian screen that works and is easy to setup and mount and from a company that developed this specific for Rivian and answers the phone and stands behind the product, come on over - we are here for you! We have our own firmware, made by us for USA Rivian use.

Ordered one as well. Will compare with one I got off Amazon. I must say, the ready-built fuse tap makes it a lot simpler. I've gone through different power options (Scosche OBD and Garmin OBD with 10 minute shut-off) and none ideal since I don't have the under dash power given the newer build. The issue I've had is my current unit plays the sound through the device instead of the Rivian speakers even though my phone states it's connected. So this may be a better solution. The main issues identified by owners of these devices are that they are slow. The one I have is pretty zippy, but the clunky / custom power setup and the sound issue might make this a better option. Mine also has a built-in dash-cam but that's more secondary to me.

Sounds good! Ours connects and kicks on CarPlay at the similar speed as my other cars that have integrated CarPlay. Maybe a little faster since that’s the focus here. Look forward to shipping these out for you all ??
