I'm driving up over mountains very frequently (Tahoe) and run into the re-gen limited all the time. It's worse now that it's trying to be winter.
Ha, Trying to be winter. Its currently going to be record breaking temps in MN and 40 for a few weeks. Not that I WANT snow, its just that I paid for snow plowing for the season and there is nothing yet,

Yeah it's been a lot of rain, not much snow.

I do want snow, I live in Tahoe for the snow, last season was the season of a lifetime. This one is starting out with a whimper. The Ski resorts are all trying to survive on snowmaking. But maybe things will shift and we'll see a real winter.

Scheduled Drive
You can now create schedules in the new Climate Schedule panel in the center display (or in the Rivian mobile app version 2.5.1 or higher) to precondition the vehicle cabin and the high-voltage battery before planned drives. For example, in cold climates, you can schedule your vehicle to warm up before an anticipated departure time. Go to Fan > Schedule in the center display to create as many schedules as you need–ones for different days of the week or even multiple schedules for the same day.

Just in time for the winter !!!! Been asking for this forever. !

Wipers:
.... Can we give a shout out to Rivian for implementing the wiper sensitivity on the stalk instead of the way Tesla does? My friends love their teslas... except for the way they have to dig into the menus to get the sensitivity changed.

I'll agree but also simplify this and just say shout out to Rivian for HAVING stalks still. :)

This is blending on the throttle pedal and not the brake pedal right?
Correct, while this is an improvement in some situations and for all OPD lovers, its the opposite of what I'd like which is blending regen into the first portion of brake pedal travel. (which I can't imagine would ever be an OTA)

Seriously, though... What could this really mean? It's not like they can add 4-wheel steering OTA...
I'm guessing, hoping that this means improved throttle response over low speed obstacles.

I wonder what the blended braking will do while towing. I have seen regen limited going down a long grade with the trailer. I wouldn't want the truck to just apply brakes without applying the trailer brakes at the same level.

Perhaps we’ll have the option to turn off regen in the future!
Nooo! It's the reason I got a Rivian instead of a Taycan. Snow mode now is good already.
